HEY, I'M EMMA
Like you, I'm obsessed with animals and watercolour... but it took me YEARS to figure out how to paint them realistically on my own. There were countless times my confidence was knocked and I wanted to throw in the towel and stick to something easier like breakdancing.
But I pushed through the self-doubt and many "ugly" stages, developed a system to speed up the learning process, and now I've bundled up those hundreds of hours of figuring out things the hard way into Paint Wild, so that you can paint realistic watercolour animals in a matter of HOURS... not years.
My approach to watercolour is what sets Paint Wild apart: a simple set of supplies, consistency to skyrocket your skills, and dangerous amounts of fun. I'll show you how to mix any colour from the primaries, provide regular approachable tutorials to keep you inspired and learning, and take absolutely nothing except your growth seriously.

Water control has always been a challenge for me, but after going through the Techniques 101 section, I had a light bulb moment. Emma explains and demonstrates what we want to see - and also what it looks like when things go sideways and how to recover. I can't recommend Emma enough as a teacher. She is so good at breaking down the steps of each project so that what seemed impossible actually turns out to be possible. And Color Theory 101 is a fantastic beginner class to learn about mixing many colors from the three primaries.
